[00:00:00 – 00:00:31] I'm sure as we did this exercise of uh trying to remember and share the first time we met our spouse to each other um it probably brought a flood of memories to all of you isn't it and I'm sure you all recognized that your life has never been the same after that of meeting this one person you [00:00:28 – 00:01:00] never thought could change your life so much isn't it well I have a story a true story that happened in a small town called McFarland it's in Southern California just a few miles north of Bakersfield right on freeway 99 you'll pass it if you drive a little too fast while it's a very small town of a farming community and there is a middle school where most of the children who go to [00:00:58 – 00:01:29] that school wake up very early in the morning because they work as Pickers in the farms and help their parents to make ends meet and then they have to run all the way back to make it in time to their school and this School receives a new teacher called James White who is surprised to find himself in a school which has children who are from a different culture many of them [00:01:27 – 00:02:00] are bilingual they speak Spanish more more than English He struggles initially to connect with them he teaches them a lot of different things but realizes upon watching them and see how all of these kids are so athletic decides to form a crosscultural a cross country running team and he desperately tries to connect with these students one by one and for [00:01:56 – 00:02:28] the first time forms a team that no one believed was going to be able to perform well and takes Su steam to the very first state championship and they win it and he does that not just once he does that for the next several years helping this school and this town with unknown faces of small children whom [00:02:25 – 00:02:56] nobody really cares to win nine state championships and through which several of them end up getting scholarships and going to colleges and their lives change and some some of them go back to continue to do the same to others all of this is because they have this encounter with this one person James White and there's even a movie that's been made about this it's a brilliant movie uh you can watch it it's a clean [00:02:55 – 00:03:25] movie familyfriendly and you would be inspired to see how how meeting this one person changed the lives of all these students you know today we are going to look into the Bible we are doing a walk through the Bible we're doing a helicopter flight through the whole of Bible we finished the book of Genesis yeah we finished Genesis by the way we're now in Exodus and we are landing [00:03:23 – 00:03:55] in this particular book in a very special place you know the five first five books of the Old Testament they usually called the pentat but they can also be called as the Old Testament gospels or you can say this is The Gospel According to Moses because Moses is writing this and Moses is giving a historical and a theological account of God he's basically putting together his Systematic Theology because he's writing [00:03:51 – 00:04:22] to the second generation of Israelites who barely know anything about this God most of their parents died in the wilderness because of lack of faith and unbelief so after describing to them in the Book of Genesis about how this world came into being and who this God is and what were his powers and about their [00:04:18 – 00:04:54] origins of their forefathers Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and Joseph and he shows how God works through people's lives to progressively reveal himself self through the life of Abraham we saw that through the life of Joseph he's now getting personal and he wants to talk about his own personal encounter and experience of this God and he's doing this so that they [00:04:51 – 00:05:22] will be able to trust him if they are asking why should we trust you and your words and they will be inspired and have the courage to go into the promised land so in this autobiographical chapter a very personal chapter for Moses he shares his encounter with God and the transformation it has had on his life it is a biographical sketch and we're going [00:05:21 – 00:05:53] to look at three things from this chapter we're going to look at the radical encounter that Moses has we're going to look at the divine Revelation that he receives and we're going to look at the transformational mission that God sends him on radical encounter divine revelation and transformational Mission the radical encounter verse one it begins with saying now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law [00:05:50 – 00:06:20] Jetro the priest of Midian and he led his flock to the west side of the Wilderness and came to Horeb the Mountain of God you know this is a chapter where Moses is describing what people call as theophany where God shows up in the Old Testament and usually when someone describes a theophan it's written in third person narrative even like Paul when he talks about I know a man who went to the heavens and all of that in [00:06:17 – 00:06:48] the New Testament so Moses is talking about his own experience in the third person and and and and we all know his backdrop of his story you know though he was born born in a palace he he was kept Alive by the Providence of God we saw that last week ruling over the wishes of the mighty Emperor who wanted to kill all the babies Moses despite growing up in a [00:06:45 – 00:07:16] palace did not seem to have a deep experiential relationship with God just like the other Israelites it's been nearly 460 years since Joseph had passed away and several generations of is Israelites had come and somewhere along the way they seemed to have lost their roots and their faith and their knowledge of the god of their fathers Abraham Isaac and Jacob so when God is not the center of [00:07:14 – 00:07:45] your life something else becomes the center and you make that your identity and for Moses he became very ethnocentric his ethnicity became his identity so he gets mad when someone treats other Israelites bad and in his anger he attempts to kill and this anger which led him to murder and guilt and after that fear for his life for which he had no response [00:07:41 – 00:08:13] makes him to flee as far away as he could and he goes as far away from Egypt to the land of Midian he basically goes to a new place gets a new identity a new family marries Jericho's daughter zura and as children get a new profession even he starts he thinks I'm going to go off the grid and have a clean fresh start staying under the [00:08:11 – 00:08:42] radar and it's not he does that not for one year two year 3 years he does that for 40 years when you do a time like that for 40 years it does something to you doesn't it and he picks up a profession which is that of being a Shepherd that's the lowest most humble profession anyone could take because the Egyptians hated and treated any [00:08:39 – 00:09:10] Shepherds with so much contempt Not only was he just being a shepherd He did not even own any sheep and he was working as a servant to his father-in-law Jetro remember from where to where he had come from the the palace to the Wilderness and all and any of the sense of ethnic Pride that he had in him was [00:09:08 – 00:09:40] by now evaporated you know transition from Palace to Desert is hard isn't it the prime of his life is gone what can you do in the desert not much other than taking sheep he's now a humbled man sometimes God has to take us through the desert experience to Humble [00:09:34 – 00:10:07] us and God meets Moses right there you know God has to first break us before he can use us he needs to break us before he can use us he needs to work in us before he can work through us and we see that vividly described in graphic detail in the life of Moses God was going to do something extraordinary with the life of him but [00:10:02 – 00:10:33] he's not ready yet because God is not in his life humility is the first place God leads us into be before revealing himself to us you know when we are born in this world we think we can do a lot of things and when we live in a place like Silicon Valley where perhaps several of you are engaged in creating disruptive [00:10:31 – 00:11:04] Technologies it is highly possible to make us feel like gods in fact that's what the pharohs were called they were called Gods Moses grew up thinking like he is a Demi God but the Bible says God stands opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble God always shows up when we feel like giving up and and now comes the r IAL encounter [00:11:00 – 00:11:30] we read about that in verses 2-6 and he discovers in this encounter five attributes of God it starts with verse two it says and the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush he looked and behold the Bush was burning yet it was not consumed you know the phrase the angel of the Lord it appears 67 times throughout the Old [00:11:27 – 00:11:57] Testament it's a idiomatic expression in the Hebrews the original Hebrew language if it is translated it is translated as the Lord appearing as an angel it is God himself appearing to Moses or that's how he perceives it he appears as a fire that doesn't burn the [00:11:54 – 00:12:24] bush and you see several such appearances in the Old Testament he appears to Abraham as a partt of fire he descends in fire on Mount Si later on the whole nation of uh Israel is going to see that he accompanies his visit to Elijah with fire Daniel sees him sitting on the Throne of Fire John sees him with eyes of fire in the Book of Revelation ready to judge the world the Israelites [00:12:22 – 00:12:53] see him literally as a pillar of fire leading them in the wilderness theophanes are amazing experiences and Moses gets a personal one-on-one theophany with God in a place where you and I would least expect God to show up in a desert where there is nothing other than rocks and bushes and wild animals especially as he has traveled so [00:12:51 – 00:13:23] far away from Midian because for whatever reason he couldn't even feed his sheep there and he had to keep pursuing land till until he found a good grazing slope mountains near the Mount of Sinai that's what this place is called and he finally lands here and all he has is rocks and bushes and God shows up you know God always shows up in the most unexpected time and in the most unexpected places especially [00:13:20 – 00:13:52] when we are at our lowest to tell us that he cares and because of the first attribute of God which is his omnipresence God is present everywhere he is present in the mountains and The Valleys he's present in the High Times of our life he's present in the lowest points of our life he is present when we are healthy he is present when we are sick he is present when we are happy he is present when we are sorrowful but when we are the most [00:13:49 – 00:14:20] needful of God when we are in the most humble moments is when he shows up sometimes we think there is no God in this world world or or or kind of a deistic understanding God has just created and left the world to run but no he is there and he will show up in your life and my life when we are hitting that rock bottom or when we are feeling the lowest point of time and when we cry out to him he shows up because he is [00:14:16 – 00:14:49] present he's an omnipresent God he always shows up when we're at the point of giving up always before we encounter him or even after we have encountered him when our hearts grow cold and we tend to live our own lives like our own Gods he sometimes has to lead us into the desert experience to Humble us so we can know that he is [00:14:46 – 00:15:17] there you know Jesus when he preaches the Sermon on the Mount the very first thing he talks about in his blessedness that he promises he said blessed are the poor in spirit the always the first step step to having an encounter with God is being poor in spirit it is humility says for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven you know Moses is about to lead an entire nation he's going to be used by God literally for establishing the kingdom [00:15:15 – 00:15:48] of God among his people but he first needs to experience this being poor in spirit it took him 40 years to get there my dear friends let me ask you this question have you had this moment in your life of spiritual poverty and bankruptcy and humility secondly this is something beautiful God you would expect would [00:15:44 – 00:16:16] show up and be harsh to Moses and say Moses look how you messed up man I had such great plans for you and you went and messed it up you went and killed a person and you wasted 40 Years of your life what can I do to you isn't it if you're Asian parents that's what you would tell your children when they mess up something small or get us low grade in their school when you think that oh life is [00:16:13 – 00:16:46] all gone was waiting for you to get into Stanford and Berkeley and you got to be thankfully God is not like that isn't it he goes and he says verse four when the Lord saw the that he turned aside to see God Called to him out of the Bush Moses Moses and he said here I am you know when the Bible especially in [00:16:43 – 00:17:13] the Old Testament someone calls a name twice it's a it's an enduring cultural communication it's it's something that tells hey I really care about you you know when someone says John John or Peter Peter it means hey Moses I care I'm here for you Moses I I'm there God's telling Moses Moses I see you you think you're in the desert where nobody can [00:17:12 – 00:17:44] see you think your life doesn't matter you think your life is over you're old you're dead and you're just going to be buried and remembered no more No Moses Moses Moses I see you I care and Moses responds to that gentle voice of God that goes after him he he he experiences that God is present everywhere the omnipresence of God he experiences The Tender Mercies [00:17:41 – 00:18:13] and care and love of God and third he experiences the holy God as much as God is loving and gentle he tells him I'm also holy Moses you can't just walk straight into my presence take off your sandals for your standing on Holy Ground every time God shows up to to anyone in the Bible you see this pattern there is always this vertical and a horizontal between us and God that we just can't enter into his presence [00:18:10 – 00:18:42] because we will be consumed and that's out of that good intention is where God warns Moses No Moses not now please don't come take off your sandals I'm holy and fourth God tells Moses who he is that he's a covenantal God he says in verse six and he said I am the god of your father the god of Abraham the god of Isaac and the god of Jacob and it says [00:18:39 – 00:19:12] Moses hid his face for he was afraid to look at God you know just in the verse the last verse of the second chapter of Exodus Exodus 2:4 if you have your Bibles you can turn with me and read it and this is what it says and God heard their groaning and God remembered his Covenant with Abraham with Isaac and with Jacob God saw the people of Israel and God knew God is reminding Moses the reason [00:19:09 – 00:19:39] he's come to him is not because Moses was awesome or amazing or you know he he thought he's the man he got the right guy for the right job to do the right thing it's because he's a covenantal God and he had made a covenant with Abraham you know the word covenant occurs 25 times in Genesis and this is the first time it's occurring here in the book of [00:19:36 – 00:20:07] Exodus and he explains to him how and why he's going to complete accomplish this Covenant vers 7 onwards he says the then the Lord said I have sure sure surely seen the Affliction of my people who are in Egypt there are three phrases in the next two verses that pop out that talk tell Moses something about who God is first he says I have surely seen second he says I have [00:20:04 – 00:20:36] heard their cry and third he says I know their sufferings I have seen I have heard and I know what he's telling Moses is I not only saw you Moses I'm also seeing my children what they are going through I not only see my children it says when they cry out basically when they prayed for deliverance he says I answered them he says I'm also a prayer [00:20:34 – 00:21:07] answering God Moses when people come to me and talk to me I answer their prayers and not just that he says I also know their sufferings I know and Moses now is experiencing firsthand God revealing to him as a God who sees as a God who hears as a God who knows and he's not just a God who sees and a God who hears and a God who knows he says because of this Moses I'm going [00:21:03 – 00:21:34] to act he's also God who acts so I want to remind us my dear friends whatever pain you are in right now in your life take heart that God sees you whe whenever you're crying out to God take heart that he hears your prayers and will answer you in his time and whatever sufferings that you're [00:21:30 – 00:22:00] going through in your life take heart that God knows your sufferings and above all that God will act it took 460 years for God to act but he did and he did by finding a man Moses who is he is going to send to them to lead them out [00:21:59 – 00:22:29] that's the radical encounter that Moses has imagine that day in his life that changed not just his life but the history of a nation and the history of the world forever began with this encounter with God and I can tell you my dear friends when you have such an personal experiential encounter with God [00:22:26 – 00:22:57] he will change your life and mine as well secondly let's move on to the divine revelation so Moses has this radical encounter with God experiences all these five attributes of God and now he gets to hear the divine revelation verses 10 to verse 15 God is now revealing several things to Moses first of all he says come I will [00:22:55 – 00:23:27] send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people the children of Israel out of Egypt so God is revealing to Moses you're my man Moses I've chosen you to confront the Pharaoh a very scary proposition for Moses and impossible because the last time this Pharaoh wanted to kill him and God is saying I'm going to send you back to the Pharaoh second thing he's revealing to [00:23:25 – 00:24:00] him is that I will bring the children of Egypt is Israel out of Egypt in verse 10 that's unimaginable the the bringing an entire nation of millions of people from the mightiest Empire at that time is unimaginable you know go our God is a God who does the impossible and the unimaginable in human terms because he is bigger and greater and mightier thirdly he says he gives him a [00:23:58 – 00:24:28] sign if you don't believe this Moses if you don't believe that I'm a God who can do the impossible that I'm a God who can do the unimaginable I'm giving you a sign trust me Moses you're going to bring all these people right here to this place which is called Mount Si and you're going to serve me you know the the reason why perhaps commentators say that the place was called as Mount siai is because the the the Hebrew word [00:24:25 – 00:24:57] for Bush is also siai so it's just a lot of bushes that it ended up being called as Mount sin and God is saying that I'm sanctifying this place and this is a sign you're going to actually see it it's not an empty promise and fourth comes the most magnificent extraordinary Revelation when Moses asks for the name what name should I tell you God to the people because they have lost any memory of [00:24:54 – 00:25:25] their God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob it's just not not going to be enough for me to tell them that you're the god of our fathers because perhaps they don't even remember any of those things and there were several names that God was known in the Book of Genesis you know El Elon or El shedai or El Roi and these were all derivative names from the popular name of God L he says all right Moses I'll tell [00:25:21 – 00:25:53] you and he gives him this name I am who I am it's a very very difficult phrase to translate into English in English it just seems so passive and Mild but what is behind this in the original Hebrew language is that the root is from what is a verb form called call which is non-causative [00:25:49 – 00:26:21] which says that I am I existed always before I exist now and I will always exist but all Al when it's employed Hebrew Scholars say there's another grammatical form called the hiil which is more causative which is saying God is trans this can be said that I have I am the uncaused cause who created all things and who will continue to create new things in your life and I will cause everything to be accomplished for my [00:26:18 – 00:26:50] glory all of that is hidden in this word I am who I am and in this is also hidden your Redemption I going to cause your Redemption Israel I caused the world into existence I caused you into existence I caused the Pharaoh into existence and now I am going to cause your Redemption and I will set my Redemptive plan not just for you but eventually for [00:26:46 – 00:27:16] the whole world that's what my name is that's the extraordinary divine revelation that Moses gets about God and God just doesn't leave Moses with his encounter and a revelation he now sends him on a transformational mission we read about that in from vers 16 to the end of this chapter verse [00:27:13 – 00:27:45] 22 says go and gather the Elders of Israel together and say to them the Lord the god of your fathers the god of Abraham of Isaac and of Jacob has appeared to me saying I have observed you and what has been done to you in Egypt and I promise that I will bring you up out of the Affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites the Hittites the amorites the perizzites the hites and the jebusites a land flowing with milk and honey and the Israelites are just at the brink of seeing this land they've sent out the spies they've seen [00:27:43 – 00:28:14] they know all these names of the people who are the enemies who are ahead of him and Moses is telling them God already told me even before I came to you he promised me he gave me a mission to lead you into defeat in all your enemies you know the radical encounter and the divine revelation changed the trajectory of Moses's life leading to a transformational mission he was no longer going to live [00:28:13 – 00:28:43] his life in Oblivion Off the Grid from any action he's going to be the center of one of the most greatest acts in human history the mass Exodus of millions of people from the most powerful emperor in the world all all without lifting a sword or a shield Moses would have never imagined that the Pharaoh would have never dreamt that the Israelites would have never believed [00:28:39 – 00:29:11] that you know DL Moody has this amazing quote and it's beautiful he says Moses spent 40 years thinking he was somebody 40 Years Learning he was nobody and 40 years discovering ing what God can do with a nobody let me repeat Moses spent 40 years thinking he was somebody 40 Years [00:29:07 – 00:29:38] Learning he was nobody and 40 years discovering what God can do with the nobody my dear friends God wants our lives to be transformed too with beginning with this encounter so we can have this experiential revelation of him and taste and see how [00:29:35 – 00:30:08] he is good in our lives not just to leave us static where we are but to give us a transformational mission the mission God gave Abraham was simple it's one word go it's always the same word go God's call to Abraham was go and and God's call to Moses now is go and Jesus's called to his disciples [00:30:04 – 00:30:36] before he ascends is go and make disciples of all Nations you know when we encounter this God our lives cannot remain static he gives each one of us a mission which is dynamic you know the mission of God there was the Latin name that was used to describe God's mission to redeem Humanity was Miss day you know laan mov had a conference recently and they were [00:30:33 – 00:31:03] suggesting that a better description to describe God is Not missio day but motus day which means the move of God because our God is a God always on the move and he wants his children to be on the move and you can see that whenever the Israelites were in their comfort zone and static is when they started sliding off and falling but as long as they were moving even when they had uncomfortable experiences in their lives God was [00:31:01 – 00:31:33] always doing something amazing in their life and it's the same with us too you know when we go through pain or suffering our immediate instinct is to shut down and lock ourselves and get into a shell and be static but God gives those moments for you and I to bring us to our humble Origins to our humility so he can show up with [00:31:28 – 00:32:00] that fire in a bush experience to reveal himself and not to let us stay there but he tells you and I to go he calls the least Among Us the most wretched Among Us the weak among us to accomplish this Mission he takes us out of our comfort zone but God assures us that he will be with us so he asks Moses to say what he just [00:31:57 – 00:32:28] told him to all the Israelites it would definitely not be comfortable for Moses to go and meet the elders and tell them to come and meet the Pharaoh first of all because the Israelites don't like him too and secondly the Pharaoh was going to kill him it's not a comfortable ask that God asked him it was also an unbelievable ask because he asked him to go tell the Pharaoh let my people go for 3 Days To [00:32:26 – 00:32:59] Worship in the Wilderness you know going for 3 days is is an idiom in in Old Testament times and and and in in in in the time of Israelites it's an idiom for we are going when you go for 3 Days in the wilderness you're leaving the country they it's a basically a different way of saying we're done with you Pharaoh we are gone we're going we're out it's an unbelievable [00:32:56 – 00:33:26] ask but also he supplies him with an unimaginable promise says I will stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with wonders he does not give all the details to Moses Moses at this point doesn't know all the plagues that are going to come how the Red Sea is going to part or what else God is doing he just has to trust God at his word and go you can't wait for all the information and everything in your life [00:33:23 – 00:33:53] to fall in place before you go God calls us to trust and obey and move and not just that you know in response to the uncomfortable task and the unbelievable ask and the he and giving the unimaginable promise he assures them he's going to provide for them for the journey he says your women will ask the other women in Egypt and they're going [00:33:52 – 00:34:23] to give them all the gold and the clothes and everything they need because they God knows they need a have a 40-year journey in the wilderness he says I'm also going to provide all of that for free that's the transformational mission that Mo Moses receives and we're going to see in the rest of Exodus and how God how Moses is writing God actually did this guys I have brought you here we are here at this point we are just about to [00:34:20 – 00:34:50] enter Canaan and sadly despite all this we know that Moses himself could not enter the promised land on Earth because he was still not that perfect prophet he had his own failings he had his own shortcomings and thankfully the Bible does not end in the book of Exodus if we keep going and come all the way into the New Testament Moses shows up in the New [00:34:47 – 00:35:18] Testament once again though Moses did not enter the promised land of Canaan on Earth he did enter the promised land in heaven with God the Father because we read in Luke 9: 28-31 we have this beautiful description of the Mount of transfiguration you remember that and who shows up in the Mount of transfiguration Jesus go goes up the mount with Peter and James and John and [00:35:15 – 00:35:46] and they all see Jesus experiencing Transfiguration but right in that cloud in that moment of transfiguration they see there are also two other people with God and who are they Moses and Elijah God didn't say Moses oh you messed up Moses you can't enter the promised land here neither can you enter my presence Moses did make it to God's presence but here is something that's so [00:35:44 – 00:36:17] beautiful and it's hidden and you will miss it if you have not read it with the right emphasis let me read those three verses says in Luke 9:28 now about 8 days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John John and James and went up to the mountain to pray and as he was praying the appearance of his face was altered and his clothing became dazzling white and behold two men were talking with him Moses and Elijah who [00:36:12 – 00:36:44] appeared in glory and spoke of his departure which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem Moses and Elijah are having a conversation with Jesus on the Mount of of transfiguration and we get from God's word what they were talking about what were they talking about it says they were talking about his departure you know what the Greek word that is used there for departure [00:36:40 – 00:37:12] is literally verb at him Exodus and there Moses is talking to Jesus about a bigger and a better and a greater Exodus and Moses was talking to Jesus about the Exodus of leading his people into the Promised Land Of Heaven Moses realized he could not lead the children of Israel into the promised land but now [00:37:10 – 00:37:42] he got to see and talk to Jesus about the real and the bigger Exodus which is Jesus redeeming Moses and Elijah and you and me from all our sins and Brokenness and taking us into the promised land god enabled Moses to see and talk to the one who was greater than him his son Jesus Christ today you and I we don't have Moses but we have Jesus who is better than Moses you know this Jesus [00:37:39 – 00:38:10] Christ has bridged both the vertical and the horizontal distance that you and I have with God through Jesus we can boldly approach the throne of grace we don't have to remove our sandals anymore with confidence and if we humble our ourselves and receive him he has promised to Tabernacle in our hearts we read in John chapter 1 and he continues to reveal even more [00:38:08 – 00:38:41] amazing things about God to us he says knowing me is eternal life it will take an eternity to know how awesome and amazing our God is and not just that he includes you and I into his mission of helping accomplish his kingdom on earth a mission that is bigger than our souls toward building his kingdom that lasts forever how amazing it is that we have [00:38:39 – 00:39:10] someone better than Moses better than what the Israelites had who's not going to stop short of entering heaven in fact he literally died and gave his life for you and I for our angers for our selfishness for our jealousy for our guilt and rose again so he can take us into the promised land so as we close my dear friends let [00:39:07 – 00:39:38] me ask you if you are in a desert experience ask and pray to God like the Israelites prayed to meet you he will meet you if you're struggling with guilt and fear and have run away from Jesus please come to Jesus he has taken up all our guilt upon Him Moses could not take away the guilt of his people but Jesus has Moses could not enter God's presence and stay there [00:39:36 – 00:40:08] forever he had to leave but Jesus is right now in God's presence always and discover your mission the transformational mission live on Mission step out of your comfort zone God may not call us to lead a nation but he can call you and I to lead someone out of bondage to sin or guilt or fear and it can begin by just boldly [00:40:05 – 00:40:36] going and meeting them across the cube in your office or across the street in your neighborhood and share them about Jesus I nights at several places it's called a mission [00:40:33 – 00:41:04] map you know you're going to take a map of a 3 to five mile radius of where you live or work or spend most of your time and identify one place where God might be calling you to go on Mission like Moses can be a school it can be a place where people do not have a home like our unhoused friends or it can be any place where is [00:41:02 – 00:41:35] there is Brokenness and you have a giftedness that can feel that Brokenness and you can use that to do and secondly something you can do in your families too or even in your small groups is do a biographical sketch of your life you know or your spiritual journey we did this in our young adult small group and we do this in our discipleship groups too it's amazing to see how has your life been over time the ups and downs and where you are right now and you can encourage one another to take [00:41:32 – 00:41:49] that next step of Faith to have this radical Encounter With Jesus and experience his divine revelation and embrace this transformational Mission so we can live for him let's pray
